Room 11's Book Study:Goosebumps

It all started on a Thursday wait I should make it more specific so let's start again, On Thursday the 3rd of December my class and I had to create a Book Study on GOOSEBUMPS which includes the Author ( R.L Stine)- (THE MAN).

We were splitted into 4 groups of 5 or 4 and created a collaborative document to each other.

Our Gardens

Today our garden is getting removed by students from Tamaki College. So my class and I had write about our garden, what kind of plants should we put in our garden. So I had to write why should we have these plants

My list of garden that I chose were:

1. Yucca Plants

2. Bonsai

3. Mini Cactus

Man I wish we had these plants in our class garden woooooo.

"Joesph Parker Wins By TKO (TECHNICAL KNOCKOUT)"

NZ heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker had defeated New Zealand and Australian boxer Kail Meehan for the WBA Pan Asian Heavyweight Title. Firstly Parker had stunned him, then did an amazing and excellent combination in a minute and for the ending he did a powerful right overhand then "BOOM". Now he's holding the title in his hands well not now but maybe. What a great TKO by Parker.

My Cousin's 21st Birthday

Saturday morning at approximately 12:45 my family and I went to a Buffet Restaurant called Happy Day's, where my cousin's 21st birthday was going to be held. When I walked through that door I could smell some nice food- mmm mm. I saw some fried-rice, Mr chips, pork, mud cakes, the rest of my family and some unknown people. But I scored me some noodles, chips and mayonnaise

"THE SHAKEOUT DRILL"

Today at approximately 9: 15 schools in New Zealand were involved in a shakeout drill. When the bell rang 3 times we all had to STOP what we were doing and go under our desks. But our teacher Mr Reid couldn't fit properly under so he took some pictures of us while the drill was on. In one of the photo’s my friend Sebastian is like “Let Me Out” I’ll rescue you Mr Reid. Here’s the picture.

Looking Forward To Athletics

YAY! I'm back to school and I'm really looking forward to this term.I can't wait for athletics, a sport that involves sprinting and a track field to run on. The reason why I'm looking forward to Athletics is because last year I did a massive effort and this year I'm not going to do a massive effort I'm going to do an AMAZING EFFORT.

Second At Interschool Netball.

Second At Interschool Netball.

On Wednesday the year 7/8 netball team from Ruapotaka School went to the interschool competition. We came second out of all 11 teams and Sylvia Park School came first. We won all our pool games but lost the final. We all had a great day.
